                  The sauna house is closed from the yard side of the homestead and maintains maximally open to the lake side. The building seems to \u201csurround and protect\u201d what is here, and the \u201cveil\u201d of vertical wooden elements used to decorate the facades seems to hide the solidblind wall planes, creating a vertical graphic that blends in with the natural surroundings. The partially covered courtyard space creates intimacy and a sense of privacy.
