Vilnius was created with a vision and possesses a symbol that gives this vision meaning—the hill, Gediminas Hill. It encodes the structure of its immediate surroundings and even the principles of internal spatial organization. The new complex on Juozapavičiaus Street is no exception: all design decisions are dedicated to revealing the hill, preserving its visibility, and sharing it with others. A true celebration of the Hill takes place here.
The project integrates into the broader urban vision of the right bank of the Neris River, aiming to create lively and convenient connections between Šnipiškės, Žirmūnai, and the riverfront. New pedestrian passages, opened street axes, and public spaces transform the riverbank from a purely transit zone into a place for everyday urban life—for meeting, leisure, and culture.
The architectural language is based on the idea of the “Capital Homes”—restrained, enduring, and rooted in natural materials and light colors. It is a contemporary yet contextual ensemble that respects the city’s history while creating a high-quality residential environment in the heart of Vilnius.
A major part of the project is the green inner park—a continuous landscape that connects public squares, slopes, a newly formed landscaped hill, and inner courtyards. It not only creates an oasis of calm in the city center, but also addresses environmental challenges by reducing noise and improving the microclimate.
