Rising verticals of pine trunks, natural irregularity and trees growing on the plot inspired the concept of a house in a pine forest. The volume composition of the building reminds pine branches growing and altering at different levels. The first floor level is decorated with dark gray glass to merge with the surrounding environment and dissolve in it. The volume of the second floor seems to float in the air. While interpreting the pine verticals, the floating second level is stressed by trimmed vertical larch wood blanks. Sliding shutters on the second floor create a feeling of integrity and openness, and the interior is filled with shadow graphics andforest mood.
